WNS - Series 1 - Race 1 - Woodland Time Trial

• 6:30pm MDT - 8:00pm MDT May 15th, 2024
• We kick off the 2024 WNS races on May 15th with our traditional ~16km ITT. The course is mainly straight and flat with a couple of rollers. The first rider will start at 6:30 PM. The course starts just west of Woodland Road and heads west along 1A towards Cochrane. After 9 kilometres and just before you start to head down the hill into Cochrane we turn right on to Big Hill Road, around the corner and straight north on Range Road 40. A short time thereafter another right turn onto Twp Road 262 heads you back eastwards towards the finish about a kilometre before you get to Lochend road. It's a short ride back to the start from there. There is some room for parking on Township Road 255 but there is even more parking available at The Lions Club of Bearspaw just 3km east of there along 1A. WNS races are open to all Crankmasters primary and secondary members, you must be a member to race. WNS is open to members of all experience levels and an ITT is one of the best ways to try it out. This will be a full aero TT and road bikes are welcome but you are encouraged to use your TT/Tri bike, skin suit, aero wheels and helmets. We need 3 volunteers - post a comment if you can help!
